TODAY WAS THE LAST DAY OF EXAMINATIONS!

actually that's a lie, the O lvl HCL paper hasnt been taken yet. T.T

TODAY I SHALL SHARE WITH YOU:
BERYL'S STEPS TO GETTING NEAR-FLUNK-BUT-STILL-CAN-PASS RESULTS! :D

1. If you have short-term memory like me, and you need to memorise stuff, you can use either:
(i) the 'memorise frequently till it's implanted in your brain' method
this method requires extreme self-discipline, but it pays really well. an excellent example would be jean! im not sure if she has shortterm memory too, but i know she memorises alot, and her results like GPA3.4! so yeah, it's a shining example how effective it is.
(ii) the 'memorise it casually (it's okay even if you forget), cause it'll make it easier to memorise when the date of the exam is nearer' method
this method is the study-smart method! it pays the best of out all methods i know, cause you dont have to waste as much time as method(i), waste less brain space too! but it requires almost as much self discipline as method(i). a shining example would be farah! she also dosent have short term memory, but her GPA is so high your eyes will pop out. :D
(iii) the "omg-i-cant-memorise-by-reading-at-all!!" method.
this is my method haha. i cant memorise by reading, seriously. my horrendous results from postPSLE onwards is testament to that. i always wondered why i cant do well, even though i read! then i realised i'm kinesthetic+visual+audio(to a lesser extent) learner! (credits to jellytarts for the lakeside SL haha) so now, either a few days (or 1 day) before the exam, i flip through my files and notes, and jot down impt things to remember like formulae, explanation, and make sure i understand what i'm writing down(when i write, i also mutter to myself) :DD this seems pretty effective for me, cause my results did improve after i used this method. so i'm sharing with you all! use it if you suck at memorising like me haha.
(iv) the "omg i got no time, i might as well not study" method.
employed by yours truly for 2 exams, did okay in the first one due to farah's help, and scored my worstever result in rv in the 2nd exam. advice: DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS ONE.

2. If youve got something you're unsure of;
- never, EVER, tell yourself "nevermind, i'll just leave it first and clarify later". cause if you dont even understand the 'beginning', how do you master the 'end'?
- quickly ask and clarify with teachers, or with kindredspirits like farah&yunrou :DD
- if your teacher around, ask other subject teachers! im not sure about other schools, but 90% of rv's teachers are nice:DD

3. no matter how tired or dizzy you feel, as long as you can still think, DONT PON SCHOOL.
- ah. this is sooo taboo @.@
- if you read this, you have to swear you'll pretend you never read this!
- really.
- if you dont promise then you're not allowed to read! (if you promise then proceed! if no, please close this webpage and pretend it doesnt exist. ty :D)
- but i decided not to say anything anyway. lol
- just dont skip school for any reason unless you're vomitting and on your deathbed, cause the lessons are super important! you skip it, and you're behind by m.i.l.e.s. lucky for me i had my friends and mrgan to help me catch up and stop it.
